Introduction to Tikam Niwas Hotel

Tikam Niwas Hotel in Ajmer, now renamed as the Merwara Estate was built in the year 1887. This beautiful structure stands on top of the hill that overlooks the Anna Sagar Lake on one side and a beautiful park called Daulat Bagh on the other. The Tikam Niwas was built following the Raj style of architecture with painted ceilings, Italian marble floorings and exquisite Belgian glasswork.
