In the year 1955, Ranthambore was declared as a sanctuary, but afterwards it came under the jurisdiction of the Central Administration of Tiger Project in the year 1973 and was entitled a National Park in 1980. The rare beauty of this park, with all its ferocious animals adds a hue to the glamour of the Ranthambore. The Tigers that were on the point of extinction have now been able to find a suitable place for breeding and multiplying in number, and this was done purposely to enable the rare and gorgeous beauty survive in India.

The Ranthambore Regency is located very near the National Park, and offers a homely and unruffled ambiance to the patrons down there. The Ranthambore Regency is just 2.5 km from the station and 10 km from the National Park. It provides all modern amenities, and the well furnished rooms are equipped with modern furniture.
