Introduction
Jagat Retreat is located amidst a very picturesque setting at Udaipur and seems to have landed straight out of a beautiful painting. The magnificent Aravali hills surround it and a small stream flows beside it. The retreat is presently managed by a retired Army Major who has a royal lineage. He is the descendant of Shakti Singh Shekhawat who is the brother of Maharana Pratap.
This is the perfect place for those who want to stay in close proximity to nature. Listen to the sweet humming of the feathered creatures and watch them moving about in the lush green lawns of Jagat Retreat. You can even feed them with grains.

Accommodation
There are a total of 8 cottages and 6 Royal Swiss Tents in Jagat Retreat. All the cottages are air conditioned. The interiors are very tastefully decorated and are sure to provide you with a lot of aesthetic satisfaction. The tents too are very elegantly decorated and are reminiscent of the royal period. All the necessary amenities are there in the cottages and tents so that you do not face any problem while residing here.

Dining
There is a multi cuisine restaurant at the Jagat retreat where you are served some of the most delicious Indian, Chinese and Continental food. Your appetite is sure to be satisfied after you savor all these well prepared dishes.

Other facilities
Laundry services are provided at the Jagat Retreat. Telephone, fax and Internet facilities are available at the Resort.
A travel desk is there which not only provides you with the required information but also arranges for Horse and Jeep Safaris.
Among the other facilities available is a doctor on call who does the needful at the time of medical emergencies.
Cultural programmes are also arranged at the resort. Have a nice time viewing memorable performances by Rajasthani Folk singers and dancers.
All kinds of farming activities are carried on in the Royal retreat. The retreat encourages Organic farming and it will definitely be a very unique experience to all the guests if they also lend a hand to it.
