Bhangarh : Alwar Excusrions
Bhangarh: One such popular tourist destination in Alwar is Bhangarh. Bhangarh is approximately 84 kms from Alwar and 47 kms from Sariska. In earlier times, it was a flourishing town incorporating 10,000 homes. Raja Madho Singh built this town during 17th century. According to local tales, an evil magician cursed this town, which led to the end of a developing town.
Bhangarh features various temples, such as Lord Hanuman, Lord Shiva, Gopinath and Dev Narayan temples. It also features shrine of Muslim Saint. Beautiful gardens of Bhangarh are simply awesome.
