The National Park in Rajasthan provides two vital things; it teaches us the value of love over violence and makes us more conscious and responsible human beings. The first point is due to the fact that owing to an urge for hunting, the Maharajas of Jaipur along with the English companions constantly tracked the tigers and other feral beings; to display their strength and courage.
But as a fatal consequence those natural beings were on the verge of extinction and to replete the loss the Government of India proposed Ranthambore as a Sanctuary in the year 1955 which afterwards they designated as a National Park, for secure breeding and safe multiplication of the tigers.
Secondly, the knowledge that we achieve from the nature is more applicable to our daily lives than what we gain from pen and paper. So, amidst these wild animals we find solace and energy to fight; beneath the tranquil firmament, we reflect the words of Wordsworth, in the poem, “To One who has been long in a City Pent”, the filth and dirt of the mundane world vanishes for a while from our mind and we are purged of the feeling of loneliness and depression.
In this world where every creature is alone and fights for its existence, Darwin’s Struggle for Existence, one can only hope for success. But peace is the just thing that we tend to miss, and among these wild animals one can indisputably unearth peace and tranquility.
