Aman-i-Khas Ranthambore
Aman-i-Khas
The word Aman in Sanskrit means peace and the word Khas in Urdu and Hindi means special, so they combine together to mean a peaceful resort; Aman-i-Khas thus derives its name from the Mythological past of the Indian Culture and is situated adjacent to the Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan. Leopards, Tigers and deer constitute the main attraction at the Aman-i-Khas tent.
The boondocks of the jungle, the Lucretian Pleasure at the sight of preying animals tearing down their preys, and the horrid delight at being among the ferocious forest friends without being least bothered for harm that they might have caused, at least a kind of tragopan. The craggy hills of Rajasthan embellished with the blond sand mounds, also reminds us of the past tale of the Rajput victory in the battles and also the failures that they encountered with the British and the Muslims after they entered India.
The National Park is one of the most efficient and unique spot of tiger reserve in India. The camp remains open for the tourist from October to the end of June. The camp also offers an opportunity to trace the wild habitat among the woods. Although most of us are not philanthropists, we take pleasure in witnessing the wild life going astray and making love, the universal phenomenon of procreation and continuation surfaces before us; and we disperse from the mundane world for a time being to the basic level of sustenance.
All these efforts rectify us, making a better and more matured human sensibility in ourselves. The hotel is well furnished, with spacious room arrangements and plenty of accessories that are obligatory for a comfy living. There are 12 suites in this hotel and overnight car is available for a la nuit drawl.
