Alwar is referred to as the gateway of Rajasthan. Set in the midst of the Aravali range of mountains, it has forests, lakes and several monuments reflective of the architectural skills of the Rajputs. There are several places worth seeing in and around this beautiful place. Mention worthy among them are the Bala Qila Fort, the City palace along with its museum, the Rani Moosi Chhatri.
